SpaceX is progressing toward final closing of its previously-signed $60 billion all-stock acquisition of Anysphere (maker of the AI coding assistant Cursor), with regulatory reviews approaching completion and closing anticipated before end-August 2026. The deal — first announced June 16, 2026 — folds Cursor's code-generation stack into SpaceX's new AI Compute unit alongside Starlink and launch.

Intuitive Machines closed its acquisition of Goonhilly Earth Station and COMSAT, adding an owned space-to-ground data services network able to support missions across LEO, MEO, GEO, cislunar and deep-space environments. The company frames the asset as a building block for its stated ambition of a "solar system internet independent of Earth" and an extension of its Near Space Network Services position.

Hyundai Motor Group confirmed on 16 July 2026 that its shareholders are pursuing acquisition of SoftBank's entire remaining stake in Boston Dynamics after SoftBank exercised a contractual put option, a step that would make the robotics maker a wholly owned Hyundai subsidiary. Press reports put the consideration at about USD 325 million for roughly 9.65 to 10 percent; Hyundai's own statement discloses no figure and says the contemplated transaction remains subject to approvals, settlement procedures and share-allocation decisions among the relevant parties.
