The Trump administration lifted the June 12 export-control order that had forced Anthropic to disable its most powerful models (Fable 5, Mythos 5) for foreign nationals, ending a 19-day restriction. Anthropic began restoring global access on July 1 and pledged closer cooperation with the government, though access for foreign governments and some state actors remains restricted.

Axios reported exclusively that Reflection AI would provide models for the US Department of Energy's Genesis Mission, its flagship AI initiative. CNBC independently confirmed in June that Reflection is working with the DOE Genesis Mission. No contract value, term or scope of work was disclosed by either the department or the company, and none is asserted here.
