New Mexico's Economic Development Department approved a Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) award of up to $2,412,426 to Pacific Fusion as part of a round of roughly $12m spread across 27 companies, alongside Boeing and Stack Infrastructure. It is the company's second and substantially larger JTIP package: the first, approved in November 2025, covered 46 trainees at an average hourly wage of $61 for up to $1,476,806. The award subsidises training for the workforce at the Albuquerque Mesa del Sol research and manufacturing campus and the Los Lunas build centre, and is a state-funded operating subsidy rather than company capital.

Pacific Fusion Corp. filed a federal lobbying registration under the Lobbying Disclosure Act, signed 10 June 2026, engaging Greenberg Traurig LLP to work energy and defence policy in Washington. It is the company's first known federal lobbying effort, and follows its $1 billion New Mexico campus commitment and a public citation by Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM) in March 2026. The registration signals that Pacific Fusion is building a Washington presence around the national-security dimension of high-yield fusion, ahead of the NNSA memorandum of understanding it would sign in August 2026.
